Each company was established to serve a specific niche in the online communications industry. Both companies have been visionary pioneers and early ground breakers in their respective fields. Our long-term experience has given us a very unique perspective that very few consulting firms in our industry possess.

CyberTech Information Group specializes in streaming video production, web site design and providing consulting services in all areas of online communications and marketing. Because of our specialization in this area, our streaming video services are now presented in their own site. Besides functioning as web designers for our own customers, we regularly function as a sub-contractor to other web development firms who require specific assistance on projects for their customers. Additionally, through CyberTech, Larry has been a successful self-publisher of information on online marketing. His first manual, CompuServe Advertising Made Easy which was released in 1994, sold over 1,000 copies just on CompuServe alone! It received rave reviews from online marketers who utilized the classified advertising forum on CompuServe prior to the web becoming the success it is today.

In 1991, Laran Communications was among the first online services and BBSes to offer online classified advertising. Long before the advent of the World Wide Web and well before most people's knowledge of the word "Internet", Laran Communications was providing a format for advertisers who wanted to gain an early entry into the world of online classified advertising. Laran's first method of online advertising distribution was based on the use of downloadable classified ad files distributed through a network of BBSes. Over the years, Laran's distribution system was modified to take full advantage of the Internet.

Prior to establishing both companies, Larry Spiegel spent 20 years in the financial services industry. Before changing career paths in 1991, Larry was C.E.O. of two NASD Broker Dealer firms.
